My Story and Approach
I’m Dr. Heidi Pereira Bonilla, an educator and higher education leader whose work sits at the intersection of equity, workforce development, institutional change, grants, and community partnership.
I came to the United States from Guatemala as a child and learned early how complicated educational systems can feel when you are navigating language, identity, belonging, and unfamiliar institutions. Those experiences continue to shape how I lead and why I care deeply about creating systems where students, families, and communities can find opportunity and feel that they belong.
My professional experience spans higher education leadership, Hispanic-Serving Institution initiatives, workforce and career pathway development, grant-funded programs, strategic partnerships, professional learning, and student success. My doctoral research and practice are grounded in humanizing education, racial and cultural equity, listening, relationships, dignity, and care.
Through AriBell Consulting, I bring together strategy and people-centered practice. I work with organizations to move from good ideas to thoughtful, sustainable programs while keeping the experiences of the people most affected by our decisions at the center.

How I Work
How I Work
Every conversation begins with listening.
You do not need to arrive with perfect language, a formal proposal, or a complete plan. We can begin with your idea, concern, question, or community need and work together to identify the next step.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in the people most affected by the work. I help organizations clarify goals, identify opportunities, build realistic plans, and move from ideas to implementation without losing sight of equity, relationships, and community context.
Depending on the project, our work may include strategy sessions, program design, grant development, partnership building, facilitation, research, evaluation, or ongoing implementation support.
